I am a total beginner. Where do I start? The best way to start your Pilates journey at the studio is through our introductory offers, this way you can get a feel for if you prefer 1:1 or semi-private group sessions. Head to the 'Get started' page to find out more and book.

Do I need to have prior experience? Not at all. You don't need to have any prior experience or skill to join our sessions/classes. Regardless where you are in your movement journey, you will evolve and MOVE BEYOND, with our guidance and support.

What should I wear for Pilates & Gyrotonic? Comfortable clothes that allow you to move your body freely. No need to bring indoor sports shoes, we practice barefoot (recommended) or with socks if you prefer.

How often should I train to get results? At MOVE BEYOND, we emphasize the importance of consistency in your fitness journey. Initially, your body absorbs new information, and your mind-body connection strengthens. While the optimal recommendation is 2-3 sessions per week, committing to once a week consistently can also yield benefits. Based on our experience, many individuals successfully incorporate 2 weekly sessions into their schedules, which proves to be an effective frequency for experiencing noticeable changes in your body.

When can I expect to see results? Most people start to feel a difference after 10 sessions, you will begin to understand why moving your body matters to your life, you will start noticing how you hold tension during your day and understand your posture better, small subtle moments of awareness spreaded out through your day. After 20 sessions you will start having many moments feeling surprised and amazed about what your body can do during the session and outside the studio in your daily life. After 30 sessions you will have a new outlook on how movement supports not only your physical well being but also it builds trust and confidence in yourself, you will be doing again things you love that once you stopped because you couldnt do them and suddenly you have it back in your life. And all this is enabled by getting improved inner strength, more mobility and flexibility, better posture, body awareness, balance & coordination, less pain, less injuries happening, besides the mental health benefits with less tension and stress, more focus and clarity, less brain fog, more energy.

I am a beginner, which classes should I join? All our sessions are suitable for beginners, intermediates, and advanced clients. We personalise each class to meet your specific needs and goals, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and can benefit from any session on our schedule.

Can I practice Pilates or Gyrotonic exercises if I have back problems or other injuries? Absolutely! When you sign up, please inform us of any injuries or discomfort you have. If you're new to the technique and pregnant, consider scheduling a private lesson or joining our specialised Pilates Pregnancy Class. Feel free to check our schedule or contact us for more information.
